Kate was awarded a Currie Scholarship to continue the work presented at Honors Day. This work is in collaboration with the laboratory of Dr. R. John Solaro, University of Illinois College of Medicine - Chicago
Wright Hall, Alma’s “green” residence hall, is a modern, 60-bed apartment-style hall that features a number of environmentally friendly features, including geothermal heating and cooling, recycled-content ceiling tiles and carpeting, energy-efficient windows, rooftop solar heating panels, energy-efficient showers and washing machines, and a computerized energy monitoring system.
Prof. Robert Rozier
Departments: Art and Design
Robert Rozier, associate professor of art and design, brings expertise in painting to Alma College students. His own preference is for large-scale figurative paintings in bright, bold colors. Expressing the form and structure and the light and color he observes in the natural environment are his main concerns.
