More Details:

In order to explore the relationship between love and fear in the work of T.C. Boyle, I adapted and staged two of his short stories, "Sorry Fugu," and "Modern Love," dramatizing his prose while retaining every word of the original texts. In directing this production, I foregrounded the integral role of the narrator in prose fiction, illustrating the way narrators shape audience perceptions.

For five consecutive years, the Corporation for National and Community Service has named Alma College to the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll for engaging students, faculty and staff in meaningful service. More than 85 percent of Alma's 2011 graduating class participated in academic service learning during their time at Alma College.
