Welcome to my information!
I am visiting in the English department at Alma College for the 2012-2013 academic year, and could not be more excited!
Though primarily a creative writer, I am lucky enough to teach composition courses this year. Composition courses are an amazing opportunity to welcome new students into the academic world of writing. In this way, I hope my students can begin to understand and enjoy college writing instead of feeling confused and frightened by it.

Spring Term at Alma is a one-month immersion on a single academic topic that offers learning experiences not typically available during the more traditional 15-week fall and winter terms. For example, during Spring Term 2012, students observed lizards in Bermuda, studied modern economic development in India, performed dance in Taiwan, examined renewable energy in Europe and investigated medicinal plants in the Amazon rainforest.
