Fall Recruitment 2007
This year we had a wonderful fall recruitment and welcomed
7 women into our sisterhood. Our theme, “Who’s Your Gammie?”, a spin off from
the popular “Who’s Your Tiger?” phrase with the Detroit Tigers was a homerun!
The house was full of baseballs and balloons, with blue and orange all over the
place! We had hotdogs on the grill, a popcorn machine, and everything else that
made it feel like you were at a ballpark..in Alma!

Homecoming 2007
Homecoming this year was a blast as usual!
Our alumna were "Back in Black" once again walking with us in the parade in
their alumna black letters. After we spent a beautiful day watching the game
and spending some time at the newly decorated house.

Derby Days 2007
Each October the Sigma Chi's host their main philanthropy
event, Derby Days. It is a competition between all of the sororities, to raise
money for a worthy cause. Each sorority gets two coaches to help them through
events such as Derby Rock, the banner contest, the haunted house, and the
brother auction. It's always a fun event. Although we didn't win - the
proceeds went to a great cause and we are looking forward to a comeback next
year!

Winter Recruitment 2008
This year for Winter Recruitment we
had another quota class with 9 wonderful women. We all had
fun with our new teas theme based on Grey's Anatomy. Walk Outs is Alma College's annual event, where the new members announce what sorority they are joining and then run to their new sisters.
We are always present in our black letters, red bandannas, red lipstick and lots of glitter!! It is one of our favorite nights of the year!
