Greek life at Alma College gives individuals a chance to be involved with not only their own chapter, but a variety of chapters across campus. Along with Gamma Phi Beta, the Panhellenic Council includes, Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Xi Delta, Kappa Iota and Phi Sigma Sigma. The Interfraternity Council includes Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Sigma Chi, Theta Chi, Tau Kappa Epsilon and Zeta Sigma. Click on the chapter names for more information about the chapters at Alma College! Each fall we participate, along with the rest of the Greek community, in Greek Week. Each sorority gets paired up with a fraternity for a weeks worth of fun events! Mock rock is our favorite event, where we get to sing and dance with our fraternity to one of our favorite songs. Soon after the week is done, we participate in a competition against the other sororities in Derby Days, a philanthropic event hosted by Sigma Chi. We were the "Six Peat" Derby Days Champions from 2000-2006 and are looking for a comeback! Last year Gamma Phi held 2 of the 9 Executive Council positions on the Panhellenic Council: Secretary and Social Events. We currently hold 4 offices - President, Vice President, Recruitment Chair and Education. No matter what organization you are a member of, at Alma College we stick together to promote the Greek community as a whole. Currently 42% of Alma College's campus is Greek. No matter the letter - Greeks do it better!
