2008 Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellow
Barbara “Bobbie” Gottschalk visits the Alma College campus as this year’s Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellow. Bobbie’s presentation “Building Community on a World-wide Scale” is included as a part of the campus’s Service Week. Starting her career as a clinical and school social worker for 30 years, Bobbie was invited by John Wallach in 1993 to help him create the international organization Seeds of Peace. The organization has a summer camp in the United States that brings together young people from Israel, Palestine and other troubled areas for experience in living together peacefully.
