Kiltie Band Performs Annual Indoor Show
From traditional Scottish medleys to music performed by Lady Gaga, the Alma College Kiltie Marching Band presents its annual indoor show featuring a variety of music genres and styles.
The concerts will take place at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19 and 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20 in the Remick Heritage Center at Alma College. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors 62 and over, and free for Alma College staff, students, and youth under 18. Seating is reserved. Call (989) 463-7304 for ticket information.

More than a hundred students comprise the performance group, including drum majors, woodwinds, percussionists, brass and color guards.
“The Alma College Pipe Band, Highland Dancers, Color Guard, and percussion and sousaphone sections all have featured roles in this celebration of music in motion,” says David Zerbe, director of bands and percussion studies.
Along with Scottish medleys and Lady Gaga tunes, the program also will feature John Rutter’s “Gloria” and David Gillingham’s “Stained Glass.”
