National Conference Assesses History of Human Rights
Alma College’s Public Affairs Institute and the Center for Responsible Leadership have partnered to organize a national conference assessing what has been achieved in 500 years of human rights advocacy.

Student artists display their best works — including sculptures, paintings and mixed media — in the opening show of the Flora Kirsch Beck Gallery at Alma College.

 

Alma College students have experiential learning opportunities in Washington, D.C. and around the world through the College’s partnership with the Osgood Center for International Studies. The Osgood Center offers annual leadership, business and foreign policy conferences for college students on contemporary international issues.

Joel Dopke always wanted to be a teacher and entered college planning on teaching high school chemistry and physics.

“As I came to learn more about chemistry and research, I decided to try to teach at the college level,” the assistant professor of chemistry says.
