Omicron Delta Kappa Inducts 15 New Members
ALMA, Mich. — Fifteen Alma College students — 13 juniors and two seniors — have been selected for membership in Omicron Delta Kappa, national leadership honor society. New members were announced April 1 at Alma's 2010 Honors Convocation.
To qualify for membership in Omicron Delta Kappa, students must be juniors or seniors in the top third of their class and participate in a wide variety of campus activities. Founded nationally at Washington and Lee University (VA) in 1914, Alma's chapter was established in 1967.
Alma College, a four-year, liberal arts and sciences college in the middle of Michigan's lower peninsula, is known for its strong academic programs emphasizing a global perspective. Students actively engage in learning through original research projects, often addressing community issues. Founded in 1886 by the Presbyterian Church, Alma has positioned itself as one of the top liberal arts colleges in the country.

Junior Brianna Harfmann of Midland, a 2007 graduate of H. H. Dow High School, is the daughter of Robert and Carolyn Harfmann of Midland.
Junior Kara Moser of Midland, a 2007 graduate of Bullock Creek High School, is the daughter of Travis and Elizabeth Moser of Midland.
