Community Conversation To Focus on Michigan's Future
A “community conversation” for Gratiot County-area citizens will focus on brainstorming economic, education and government strategies for moving Michigan forward.

The Blanks: No Instruments, No Problem.
The Blanks comprise a quartet of friends who appear on the television show “Scrubs” as “Ted’s Band.” They will perform at Alma College as the opening show of the 2009-10 season at the Remick Heritage Center for the Performing

 

The Hogan Center is the first LEED-certified building (Silver level) for green construction at Alma College and in Gratiot County. Awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council and verified by the Green Building Certification Institute LEED is the nation’s preeminent program for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings.

Maybe it’s seeing your name on the cast list. What about the butterflies in your stomach as the curtain goes up? For Shelby Schroeder, the best part of a theatre production is when it’s over.

“I love the part after the show when you’re able to see people’s reactions to your performance, especially when you’re really able to move someone,” she says. “Knowing that you did a good job and that all your hard work really meant something are such strong feelings.”
