Alumni, King, Queen Honored at Homecoming

 

Will Allen of Unionville and Sarah Nicholas of Metamora were named 2008 Homecoming King and Queen during halftime ceremonies of the football game Sept. 27.


Alumni were honored at Homecoming with awards to recognize service and excellence to the College and the alumni’s communities and professions. Alma College students are annual high achievers in the national Model United Nations competition. Alma has received Outstanding Delegation awards in each of the last 12 years (1997 through 2008) at the world’s largest and most prestigious collegiate Model UN Conference in New York City.

A Truman Scholarship finalist and Center for Responsible Leadership Fellow, Drew has traveled to South Africa and China studying the HIV/AIDS crisis. The Bay City native intends to use his French minor and POE in International Health to improve AIDS care in Africa, hopefully as a physician with a global public health organization.
