Trustees Approve Academic, Athletic Facility Projects
A new gymnasium/convocation center, renovations to the Hogan Center and a series of academic space improvements — projects totaling $18.75 million — may soon be on the horizon at Alma College.

Four Students Named Fulbright Finalists
The Fulbright Scholarship National Screening Committee has named four Alma College seniors as finalists for the prestigious international scholarship.

The $10.2 million Hogan Center renovation and building project includes the construction of a new sports arena and convocation center along with renovated locker rooms, athletic training space, natatorium, coaches' offices and classrooms. The "new" Hogan is designed to be Alma College's first LEED-certified building for sustainable construction. The estimated completion date is August 2010.

Alma’s off-campus study programs do more than place students in exciting locales to meet interesting people; they also create new opportunities for personal growth and skill development. One of the best ways to learn about other societies and cultures is to study and travel in international settings. You do not always have to know a foreign language.
