Israeli National Women's Soccer Team Visits Alma
The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association had the recent opportunity of hosting the Asa Tel-Aviv Women's Soccer Team, and Alma College was one of the schools that took part in this special cultural exchange.

Faculty Research Goal: New Gatorade Drink Formula
Maurie Luetkemeier is conducting research that may ultimately result in a new pre-competition drink formula for athletes.

 

Alma’s “green” residence hall, Wright Hall, was completed in January 2005. The modern, 60-bed apartment-style hall features a number of environmentally friendly features, including geothermal heating and cooling, recycled-content ceiling tiles and carpeting, energy-efficient windows, rooftop solar heating panels, energy-efficient showers and washing machines, and a computerized energy monitoring system.
