Track Construction Continues at Bahlke Field

Reconstruction of the Alma College track at Bahlke Field began April 9. The project involves the removal of the old track surface and foundation. Improvements to the drainage and compaction of the foundation will provide a more stable track surface, says Bob Boyce, director of the Physical Plant. The new track also will enable the College to include the steeplechase event in home track and field meets. The estimated completion date is June 29.

Spring Term courses offer students opportunities to break out of the “Alma Bubble.” Off-campus study, especially in a foreign country, shows you how you relate to the rest of the world and how the rest of the world views American people, politics and policies. You can then integrate your real world experiences into your academic programs and your future career.
