Alma Thanks the Gratiot Community

Community Day 2004 picnic
Alma College thanks the Gratiot community Saturday for their support with a picnic and sporting events during the College's annual Community Day at Bahlke Field.

A tailgate picnic at the south end of the football stadium starts at 11:30 a.m. Tailgate tickets are $3 for adults and students, $2 for children 6-12, and free for children 5 and under.

Discounted tickets for the Scots-Wisconsin Lutheran football game at 1 p.m. are $3 for adults, $2 for community students and free for children 5 and under. The men's soccer team takes on Tri-State University at 2 p.m. at the soccer field on Charles Road. Admission is free.

Martha Bamfield '83
Alma College President Saundra Tracy is scheduled to present a plaque of appreciation to Martha Bamfield '83, Ithaca dentist and the 2005-2006 Community Fund Drive Chair, at halftime of the football game. Bamfield coordinated with community volunteers to raise money designated for the ALMA FUND, special programs, departments, endowment growth, and/or building campaigns.
