Percussion Ensemble Concert to Benefit Hurricane Victims

The Alma College Percussion Ensemble will perform a hurricane victims benefit concert at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, at the Heritage Center.

Scheduled as a free concert, the Ensemble decided to ask for a free-will offering that will be directed to Alma College's hurricane relief efforts. The concert will be a warmup for the Ensemble's appearance Monday at the Detroit Jazz Festival. Alma, under the direction of Dave Zerbe, performs at the 2005 Detroit Jazz Festival at noon, Monday, September 5, on the Waterfront Stage.

Spring Term courses offer students opportunities to break out of the “Alma Bubble.” Off-campus study, especially in a foreign country, shows you how you relate to the rest of the world and how the rest of the world views American people, politics and policies. You can then integrate your real world experiences into your academic programs and your future career.
