Richard Leakey Delivers Honors Day Keynote Address
More than 109 Alma College students share their original research, creativity and talent with an audience of their peers during the ninth annual Kapp Honors Day, Thursday, April 7, 2005.

Relay For Life Event Huge Success
Taking over the Stone Recreation Center March 11-12, 28 Alma College student and staff teams stayed in the building for 24 hours to raise $22,000 for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life event.

 

Alma College boasts a 12-to-1 student-to-teacher ratio, a liberal arts approach to undergraduate education, 28 academic majors, self-designed programs of emphasis, pre-professional programs in law and medicine, and an intensive Spring Term that provides opportunities for innovative courses, travel classes, research and internships.

Terra’s Spring Term experience in China is a tremendous help understanding the relationship the U.S. has with one of its largest trading partners. The business administration major from Monroe has seen first hand the economic effects on southeast Michigan of low-cost imports and Chinese monetary policies.
