Photo Display Provides Glimpse Into Remote Russian Region

A photographic glimpse into the remote Chita region of Russia is scheduled for display in the Alma College library from November 2-20.

Photos by local amateur photographers provide a glimpse of one of the largest, most remote and least discovered parts of Russia. The Chita region is an immense area of 286,000 miles of virtually untouched natural beauty located in close proximity to China and Mongolia.

The display is sponsored by the Alma College International Education Office and the Co-Curricular Affairs Committee. The display is intended to be the first in a series of exhibits on campus about global regions.
