Welcome! Class of 2008

Class of 2008

The first year students are here! All 375 of them are here for Alma's annual Preterm, a solid week of orientation to the college life crowned with one intensive class. The students take a three-hour course ranging across the academic disciplines followed by informational sessions and social opportunities. The academic year with a full course load begins in earnest the day after Labor Day.

Alma College students are annual high achievers in the national Model United Nations competition. Alma has received Outstanding Delegation awards in each of the last 12 years (1997 through 2008) at the world’s largest and most prestigious collegiate Model UN Conference in New York City.
