Wednesday, March. 1

Today our group headed back to God’s Love We Deliver for another day of walking deliveries. We were taken back by the conditions some clients are forced to live in. On top of having a serious illness these people must cram their lives into one room, sharing a small bath with entire hallway. What once was a penthouse for a family now houses several families.

When our groups returned to God’s Love we helped out by preparing invitations for an upcoming fundraising event. God’s Love depends on the donations from people like you and I to keep the program running. 75% of the funds are received from private donations. www.godslovewedeliver.org

Our group dispersed when we were finished through the subway and beyond until we met for dinner at an Indian restaurant called the Taj. Boasting fine Indian cuisine and live music it was a cultural experience. We tasted new foods like the yogurt drink, Mango Lassi, and various types of meats and sauces.
