Gratiot-Isabella College Access Network (G-ICAN) receives $50,000 from Michigan College Access Network. Alma College’s Sheryle Dixon is serving as network facilitator. “The vision of G-ICAN involves a belief that a postsecondary education is essential not only for a good job, but for a better quality of life; and every member of society, no matter what part of the state they live in, deserves a quality life,” said Dixon.

Alma College to fund its students’ extra learning experiences.
As part of the Alma Commitment, each student will receive $2,500 for a “venture experience” in the junior year. The Alma Commitment supports students graduating in four years.
