Is global warming a threat for the Olympics?
“The tenuousness of the Winter Olympics has become increasingly more obvious with global warming,” said Alma College Professor Derick Hulme. “The International Olympic committee should be very concerned about the Winter Olympics. I think many people look at 20, 30 years from now and are concerned about whether the Winter Olympics will still be viable.”

When the last donation from Alma College students came in, United Way Director Sharon Fenton was able to announce that the organization had met its 2010 goal of $310,000.
