Institutional Members

Member institutions of the Michigan Academy provide a large part of the Academy's infrastructure and financial support. Most Academy members are faculty and students from these institutions. Individual members who are affiliated with one of these institutions pay lower membership dues. Member institutions host the Academy meetings, and representatives from these schools serve on the Academy's Executive Committee and the Academy Council.

The Academy welcomes new institutional members. For information about becoming an institutional member of the Academy, contact a member of the Executive Committee or the Academy office.

Alma’s off-campus study programs do more than place students in exciting locales to meet interesting people; they also create new opportunities for personal growth and skill development. One of the best ways to learn about other societies and cultures is to study and travel in international settings. You do not always have to know a foreign language.
