Submit Manuscript to Journal

Authors should prepare manuscripts in accordance with the length, style, and documentation directions in the Guidelines for the Preparation of Manuscripts.

The Academy has instituted online manuscript submissions.  To submit your manuscript, go to http://maca.allentrack2.net/cgi-bin/main.plex.

Authors should submit a separate cover letter in the online system.  Include the following:

Manuscript title
Authors’ names
Authors' institutions or organizations
Authors' permanent mailing addresses
The section and year in which the paper was presented, if applicable
Authors' telephone numbers and email addresses  (only author’s name and affiliation will appear in the publication)
Undergraduate student papers must be identified as such.

Each manuscript will be reviewed by at least two referees.  Identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed during the review process and revealed only with express permission.  Authors’ names and institutional affiliations should not be revealed in the manuscript.  These will be entered separately during the on-line submission process.  Accordingly, please redact any information (citations that imply authorship of the manuscript, statements of compliance with human subject review boards, etc.) that would reveal an author’s identity or institutional affiliation to a reviewer.

If the manuscript is recommended for publication, authors are expected to respond to comments made by the reviewers.  Page proofs are sent to authors to check for accuracy.

Alma’s off-campus study programs do more than place students in exciting locales to meet interesting people; they also create new opportunities for personal growth and skill development. One of the best ways to learn about other societies and cultures is to study and travel in international settings. You do not always have to know a foreign language.
