take a wide variety of classes; you never know where you may find a new passion!

I'd tell a student considering coming to Alma

Alma is a great place for those who have a wide variety of interests in terms of both academics and student organizations.  It is very easy to find your place yet remain unique.

What I like most about studying at Alma is

I love the wide variety of opportunities at Alma, especially the many opportunities to travel.

My favorite part about living on campus is

My favorite part of living on campus is the close bond you form with others who live in the same hall/dorm. It is one of the first ways you meet new people when you are new to the college.

I went to

I went on the travel spring term to Hawaii with Dr. Rowe. The class was “Marine Fishes in Hawaii.” This was the greatest experience of my life and allowed me to find my passion in marine biology. If I had not been in this class/gone on this trip, my direction in life would be very different. I learned so much and loved every minute of it.
