Amanda joined the library staff, as a student worker, mid-way through her years at Alma. She was already involved in many campus activities when she interviewed with us. She fulfilled various roles within residence life, was an office holder in the Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE - now known as ENACTUS), and held another part time job on campus We were lucky that she was able to squeeze us into her schedule! We are happy and proud that Amanda has come back to Alma College to work as the Director of Admissions and be a great example of an Alma College graduate.
My hometown when I was a student was

Since graduating from Alma
I went on to complete my Master of Science degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education at Miami University. After graduating from Miami I worked at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga before coming back to Alma to work in Admissions. I now live in Alma with my husband and my son, Lucas.
My Alma education
Got me to where I am today. I ended up at Alma unexpectedly and here I found a home and a family. It was an amazing experience that taught me so much. My experiences at Alma help me every day even in surprising ways. For example, I can fix a printer like a champ because of my work at the library!
My favorite place(s) on campus included
The library/Highland Java, the Alpha Gamma Delta house and Hamilton Commons.
My favorite professors(s) included
Professor Lemmon and Professor Baleja!
My most vivid/best memory of my time at Alma is
Opening Highland Java my senior year and my Spring Term to Argentina.
