Lani Kelly

Lani Kelly, oboist, performs regularly with the symphonies of Lansing, Saginaw Bay, and Jackson, Mich. She has also performed with the New World Symphony in Miami and appeared as a guest performer with the Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra for the premiere of Joseph Schwantner’s “Chasing Light.”

She has performed chamber music in Carnegie Hall, Jordan Hall and the Library of Congress, and in 2007, she was selected for the Pittsburgh Symphony’s Orchestral Training Fellowship.

Ms. Kelly holds a Bachelor’s degree from New England Conservatory and a Master’s Degree from Michigan State University, where she was awarded the University Distinguished Fellowship, the institution’s most prestigious award.

She has fulfilled instructor’s duties at both Michigan State and New England Conservatory, teaching private lessons and pedagogical courses.
