August 30, 2013

“Steve Brogan is an extremely funny and versatile entertainer who brings several different characters into his shows. This will be a fun and hilarious event for the entire family.” — Mike Sheldon

Steve Brogan is no dummy. But he has a few “friends” who are.

The national award-winning ventriloquist opens Alma College’s 2013-14 performance season with his comic act at 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14 in the Remick Heritage Center.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors 62 and up, and free for Alma College staff, students and youth 18 and under. Seating is reserved. Call (989) 463-7304 beginning Sept. 3 for ticket information.

“Steve Brogan is an extremely funny and versatile entertainer who brings several different characters into his shows,” says Mike Sheldon, event coordinator for the Remick Heritage Center. “The campus has not seen a professional ventriloquism act in a long time. This will be a fun and hilarious event for the entire family.”

Brogan follows a history of ventriloquists in his family. He has been the opening act for many top performers, including the late Jerry Clower, The Dixie Chicks, The Temptations and The Moody Brothers. His television work includes appearances on ABC Good Morning America, The Fox Network and Comedy Central.
