Photo Highlights: ‘Sweet Home Alma College’

Michael Reeves of Lisle, Ill., and Jillian Thompson of Marshall were crowned the 2013 homecoming king and queen. The  alumni award winners included Erika Powers Appelt ’91, Gary Stano ’83, Gary Dorrien ’74 and Matthew Krieg, 04.

Homecoming 2013 featured alumni, the parade, king and queen, a groundbreaking—and the return of a new Scotty. Here are photo highlights.

Michael Reeves of Lisle, Ill., and Jillian Thompson of Marshall were crowned homecoming king and queen during halftime of the football game on Oct. 5.

Reeves, an elementary education major with minors in mathematics and language arts, participates in Phi Mu Alpha and Alma Choir. After graduation, he intends to secure an elementary teaching position.

Thompson, an integrative physiology and health science major with emphasis on pre-physical therapy, is president of the Integrative Physiology and Health Science honorary and is an executive council member of Gamma Phi Beta. She plans to pursue a doctorate of physical therapy.

Shovels are poised for the TKE House groundbreaking. TKE alumni are raising funds for the construction of the small house at 313 Philadelphia Street.
