The concert program includes choreography set to music from various popular movies, including “Alice in Wonderland,” “Pitch Perfect,” “Harry Potter,” “Flashdance,” “The Great Gatsby” and “Titanic.”
The Alma College Kiltie Dancers will perform original choreography using traditional Scottish Highland national steps while integrating non-traditional music and costumes during the group’s spring concert.
The performance takes place at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 29 in the Remick Heritage Center. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors 62 and up, and free for Alma College staff, students and youth 18 and under.

The concert “Finale,” choreographed by Kate DeGood, director of highland dance at Alma College, incorporates the talents of the entire 14-member Kiltie Dance company.
“The final piece on the program is a compilation of the various forms of Highland dance and showcases the many costumes and types of dances that are performed in the realm of Highland,” says DeGood.
