The Diversity Dialogues are a series of conversations led by faculty, staff, facilitators, or a panel who have expertise in the topic. The purpose of these events is to provide a safe space for students and the Alma community to discuss critical topics in regard to race, culture, gender, stereotypes, multiple identities, diversity and multiculturalism in our community and the around the world.
These dialogues will take place every month at lunch and cover a wide range of topics. Sample topics might include: Bi-Racial and Multi-Racial Students and Individuals, Stereotypes and Media Representation affecting Cultural Relations, LGBTQ and the Church, Assimilation of Minority Groups in America.
