The Beginning    Rev. August F. Bruske, 1891

Psychology courses have been offered at Alma College since its beginning. In 1890, it was taught by Rev. Henry E. Butler, Wells professor of Mental and Moral Science. A few years later, it was taught by Dr. Bruske, the second president of the College and Wells Professor of Philosophy and Theism.
