All of our professors are hardworking and dedicated to making sure that each student receives the kind of direction necessary for a great education. They have helped us find internships, scholarships, and even inspirations and focuses for projects.

All of our professors are also professional artists in their fields of emphasis. We have the opportunity to work side by side with them!

It's an informal relaxed environment. We are on a first-name basis with the art professors here. They actually care about us and what we do outside of art! We are serious when needed, but otherwise laughter and smiles are quite common during class!

We get hands-on experience, not just a lot of busy work. You will learn how to use tools to make your own frames, color theory to make your own colors and color wheel, and a dark room to develop your own film, just to name a few!

We are family, there's no doubt about that! You form bonds with the students and the professors in and out of class time while working on projects, especially near critique time. Where else can you have sing-a-long sessions while welding a metal sculpture or videotape behind the scenes at a photo shoot? Only here!

In order to succeed, you do need a lot of self-discipline. No one is going to make you work outside of class on your projects. You have to do that yourself. With the flexibility of how early the building opens and how late it closes, it gives us numerous opportunities to work on our projects.
