"I have lived in San Francisco for 3.5 years and I am currently in graduate school getting my masters in elementary education - hoping to teach kindergarten. I have been a graphic designer for 3 years at Chrisad, Inc., a dental marketing and advertising company. I design pamphlet brochures, logos, newsletters, advertisements, sign designs and stationery concepts.

"I enjoyed the professors [at Alma] and the art department felt like a family since it was so small. I could always ask for help and get it. I felt like Alma sharpened my skills as an artist and even though I am changing my career soon, my personal pursuit is still my biggest goal that I hope to achieve. My plan is to open a clay tile studio so that I can make them and sell them and eventually open my own store. This inspiration of course comes from Carrie and I just really love doing that kind of art. That is a long way off though, but it’s something to look forward to.  Hopefully with my summers off, this will help me produce many projects.
