Chaplain's Office at Dunning Memorial Chapel

Welcome to the Office of the Chaplain!

Located in the Kirk Center of Dunning Memorial Chapel

Religious and Spiritual Life is alive and well at Alma College! We welcome those of all faith traditions and hope that each student will grow spiritually during their years at Alma College. The Chapel programming offers many opportunities to share your gifts and develop your faith through:

  • worship, Bible study and prayer
  • discovering and exercising your leadership skills
  • putting your faith into practice through service to others

The College is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA), governed by an independent Board of Trustees and welcoming of a diverse student body. The Chaplain is an ordained Presbyterian minister and seeks to serve the needs of the entire campus community.

The Chaplain works closely with the Religious Studies Department and the offices of Service Learning, and the Center for Responsible Leadership. Service Learning links instruction with service. The Center for Responsible Leadership provides opportunities for students to develop the skills, capacity and experience for leadership.

The Chaplain's Office is located in the Kirk Center (lower level) of Dunning Memorial Chapel.
