A Champion for Gen Ed
If you’ve seen Wally Beagley around campus the past few weeks, you’ve probably noticed he’s got a new furry friend tagging along. Beagley, a member of the faculty since 1976, is the latest recipient of President Tracy’s Scotty Dog award for his work on the new general education requirements.

In Search of Grants
Nancy Money, grant specialist in the provost’s office, offers
assistance to faculty pursuing research grants. “I am open to assisting
faculty with anything in terms of what is needed for the grant writing
process, including identifying funders, proofreading proposals, and
compiling budgets," she says.

were filled with the sounds of student and faculty research from a

A Song in His Heart
Gene Teeter, Class of 1950, has proven to be a regular contributor to Alma College with annual gifts that support scholarships, the choir and music department. His gifts support the Open Windows Campaign, which has surpassed the 90 percent completion mark.
