2006 Men's Cross Country MIAA Championships in Review

ALMA, Mich. - The MIAA season ended Saturday (Oct. 28) with Alma's men's cross country team finishing seventh at the MIAA Championships. The Scots were paced by Steve Kuhlman (Battle Creek/Lakeview) who was 31st overall and crossed the line in a time of 28:29.0. The team's average time ended at 29:34.9.
National powerhouse Calvin College won the MIAA Championship with just 17 points. Jed Christiansen of Calvin won the race in a time of 25:01.1.
Wade Peacock (Beulah/Benzie Central) finished 39th with a time of 29:30.8. The Scots now look ahead to the Nov. 11 NCAA Great Lakes Regional in Hanover, Ind.
