The Scots played well in their defeat of the Comets as they came out strong early and maintained control, pulling ahead 2-1 through doubles competition. Strong singles play from number Kelly Ross, Laura Kendrick, Jessica Eichorn and Lindsay Wagner clinched the match for the Maroon and Cream.
Alma improves to 4-10 on the season and enjoys a full week's break from competition before traveling to Angola, Ind., to face Tri-State on Apr. 25.
