In 2008, a glimpse of the direction Coach Fox is taking the team was seen as they tallied their first double digit wins season in over two decades, finishing with an overall record of 12-10.

Fox has 20 years of coaching under his belt, and for the last 13 has been the coach for the Alma High School girls team, during which time he has led the program to a 99-21-3 record, winning ten conference championships, and two regional championships.

Fox has had 11 of his 13 Alma teams qualify for the state tournament.

Prior to joining the Scots, Fox was a high school biology teacher in Ithaca for 31 years and has been retired for seven years. He and his wife Leslie have two daughters, Johanna and Anneliese.
