2008: Voted a team captain in her junior season Walsh showed her passion for the game even through the challenge of enduring a broken wrist. Walsh started in 12 contests but recorded minutes in 15. She contributed 1 goal and 5 assists from the midfield earning her 7 points. Walsh earned the honor of being named to the all-MIAA first team. tied for eighth in the MIAA for assists averaging .33/game...

2007: Started in every match (18) and set the tempo for the team as a central midfielder. Recorded 2 goals and 2 assists while garnering a consecutive All-MIAA Second Team selection.

2006: Started in every game as a freshman (17) at the striker position. Led the team in goals (8) and points (16). In MIAA play, finished T-4th in goals and T-6 in points for the conference. MIAA Offensive Player of the Week in week 6 of the season for her 2 goal effort in a 2OT contest with Hope College. Was selected Second Team All-Conference by the MIAA coaches. Was selected "Most Significant Player" by her teammates.

High School: Coached by Matt Sulivan..Scholastic Honors..Metro League Scholar. Dean's List. Athlete..Second Team All District..Four year Varsity starter.Outstanding Offensive Player.

Service/Volunteer Activities: Youth Soccer Coach.

Club: Played for Genesee Stars under Steve Hancock. Competed in Michigan Premier First Division.

 

More than a third of all Alma students take part in at least one performance each year. The College offers majors in theatre, dance and music, but students of all majors may join in productions. The Remick Heritage Center for the Performing Arts is the region's premiere performing arts facility.

Jeff Hosler ‘02 joined the Alma College Athletics staff as the Scots women’s soccer coach in 2006 and has helped the Maroon and Cream rise as one of the most talented young teams in the MIAA.

In his time at Alma, Hosler became one of the best players in the 30 years of Scots soccer. He remains the all-time assists leader and ranks in the top ten in career goals and in the top five in career points. He helped the Scots to their second MIAA title, first-ever NCAA Regional Championship and first-ever NCAA Final Four appearance in 1999 en route to first team All-MIAA and third team All-Mideast Region honors. He would go on to earn first team All-MIAA accolades again in 2001 and was named to the conference’s second team in 2000.
