League Championship Called Off Due to Snow Today, Reschedule Details Pending
Alma College and all Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association schools are on hold today after the league announced the postponement of today's MIAA Championship first round at Bedford Valley Country Club.
Early winter weather in Michigan - including an inch of snow in some areas - have delayed today's opening round of MIAA Championship play.
Heading into the weekend, Alma is placed securely in fifth overall in league standings behind Olivet, Tri-State, Albion and St. Mary's. The league champion is determined by a five round scoring average, including a two-day league championship tournament.
Details are pending regarding the rescheduling of today's tournament.
