Scots Women's Basketball team travels to Rochester College for their season opener and drops a 55-42 decision

Alma Women's Basketball entered a new chapter on Tuesday evening as they traveled to Rochester College, marking the first game of new Scots Head Coach Keisha Brown's tenure. The Scots ended up on the wrong end of a 55-42 score, but the team came away knowing that even in defeat, the first game is something to build upon.

"I was excited for the girls, as they have worked so hard and it is always challenging to play the first game," said Brown. "You want to win the game, but the reality is that we played a squad that was playing their seventh game and that makes a difference. We played very hard, but we know we have work to do and we look forward to the games this weekend."
