The Alma College Women's Basketball Team would like to thank all of their loyal fans for the 2007-08 season at their game Saturday, Feb. 2nd at 3:00 p.m. against Olivet College. As part of the Fan Appreciation Day, all in attendance will receive a free can of soda courtesy of Coca-Cola and all admission fees will be waived.

Alma College's partnership with the Pine River Superfund Citizen Task Force, an EPA-sanctioned Community Advisory Group (CAG), received the 2008 Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Partnership Award for Campus-Community Collaboration, sponsored by Michigan Campus Compact. The Task Force is recognized as one of the most influential and active CAGs nationally and as having the largest membership of any CAG in the United States.
Jeff Hosler

Jeff Hosler ‘02 joined the Alma College Athletics staff as the Scots women’s soccer coach in 2006 and has helped the Maroon and Cream rise as one of the most talented young teams in the MIAA.
In his time at Alma, Hosler became one of the best players in the 30 years of Scots soccer. He remains the all-time assists leader and ranks in the top ten in career goals and in the top five in career points. He helped the Scots to their second MIAA title, first-ever NCAA Regional Championship and first-ever NCAA Final Four appearance in 1999 en route to first team All-MIAA and third team All-Mideast Region honors. He would go on to earn first team All-MIAA accolades again in 2001 and was named to the conference’s second team in 2000.
