Volleyball Camps

Volleyball General Skills Day Commuter Camp 

Our volleyball general skills camps are designed to focus on the fundamentals and technical aspects of the game in a fun, energetic atmosphere.  Coach Lu and Alma’s Varsity Volleyball Team will work to improve your daughter’s skills through individual interaction, proper instruction and lots of positive feedback. 

July 9th, 10th, and 11th, 2008

5th Graders - 7th Graders
- will cover basic skills and concepts, incorporating games and activities to learn and enjoy the sport of volleyball.  
9:00 am - noon, $125

8th Graders - 10th Graders
- will refresh the basic skills and be exposed to more challenging drills to improve their level of play. Position specific drills and team competition with positive feedback will help hone your daughter’s skills while gaining the knowledge to excel at the JV & Varsity levels.
1:00 pm - 5:00 pm, $150

Coach Profile

Cheyenne Luzynski

Cheyenne Luzynski

Alma College Athletics appointed Cheyenne Luzynski as head volleyball coach beginning with the 2007 spring non-traditional season. Luzynski is the eighth head coach in the 31-year history of Alma College volleyball.

Luzynski has served as an assistant volleyball coach for two seasons and has led the junior varsity program during that time. She has served as an assistant coach with the men’s basketball program, leading its junior varsity program and is an assistant coach with the men’s and women’s track and field teams at Alma College. Additionally, Luzynski has been named an assistant Athletic Director and serves as the Senior Woman Administrator within the department.
