VOLLEYBALL'S STEPHANIE BRADSHAW NAMED MIAA SPECIALTY PLAYER OF THE WEEK
The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) named Alma libero Stephanie Bradshaw its Specialty Player of the Week, for the week ending September 27. Calvin middle hitter Rebecca Kamp was named MIAA Player of the Week.

Bradshaw, a junior from Livonia, MI/Churchill, had 63 digs (7.0 per set) in three MIAA matches, as Alma posted a 2-1 record. She had 27 digs in helping the Scots post a four-set victory over Trine University on Saturday afternoon and added 22 digs in a loss to Calvin College on Friday night. She is being honored by the MIAA for the first time in her career.
For the season, Bradshaw has played in all 15 matches and has recorded a team-high 219 digs. She has also notched 42 kills and six assists thus far in 2009.
