ALMA VOLLEYBALL DROPS TOUGH ONE AT #11 HOPE COLLEGE 3-1 (25-12, 18-25, 25-15, 25-10)

Alma's young Volleyball team took to the road on Tuesday night to take on #11 ranked and MIAA rival Hope College hoping to pull off an early season surprise. However, it was not to be the case, as the Flying Dutch defeated the Scots by a margin of 3-1.

The two squads split the first two games, before Hope closed the league win with victories in the final two games. Alma will now host Olivet College on Friday evening at Cappaert Gymnasium in their home-opener. The Scots are 3-2 on the 2009 season.
