VOLLEYBALL: Albion Tops Alma; 30-25, 30-24, 30-26

Oct. 6, 2007

The Scots traveled to Albion College today for the second match between these teams this season, and Albion came away with the 3-0 win and a split in the season series.

Although all three games today were close, the Scots had handled Albion in their earlier meeting, a fact that makes this loss that much tougher. However, even in this tough loss, the Scots' young freshman continued to show their promise as Hannah Hewitt (Alanson/Harbor Light) and Stephanie Bradshaw (Livonia/Churchill) led the way for Alma today. Hewitt recorded 23 assists and 15 digs in the game and Bradshaw led the Scots with nine kills and also added 13 digs.

The Scots have a few days off before returning to action on Tuesday the 9th against Kalamazoo College. The match will begin at 7:00 p.m.
