Swimming & Diving Fall to Hope

ALMA, Mich. - The Alma College swimming and diving teams suffered
setbacks in their final home meet of the year to Hope on Saturday. The
men lost 110.5-83.5 while the women fell 123-104.
Individually for the men, Brent Gostomski won the 50 free in a time of
23.22 and Nate McDonald's performance in the 100 free was good for
second with a time of 52.85.
For the women, Emily Smith was second in the 100 IM with a time of
2:24.14 and Caylee Coe finished second in the 100 back, touching out in
1:08.27.
The team returns to action Feb. 9-11 at the MIAA Championships.
