2009: Played and started in all 42 games... led the team with 9 doubles... batted .305 with 13 RBI's

2008: Started in all 38 games ... batting average of .308 ... recorded 2 homeruns and 17 RBI's ... second highest fielding percentage on the team with a .987 ... third in the MIAA for sac bunts with 14 ...

High School: Played for coach Bob Kruger...Named All-Academic four times...All-State honorable mention in 2006.

Personal: Daughter of Katie and Tom Miller.

In the more than 100 years since its founding, Alma has stayed true to its roots by keeping its Scottish heritage alive. Today, Alma features a marching band clad in Kilts, a Scottish dance troupe, student pipers and its own tartan. Each year, the College hosts the Alma Highland Festival and Games, which feature traditional Scottish games and revelry.

Dennis Griffin

Dennis Griffin

Denny Griffin is heading into his 27th year at Alma College and his 20th at the helm of the Scots softball program. He moved into the head softball coaching position in 1989 after two years as assistant coach. His teams have never fallen lower than third place in conference standings and 12 of his last 14 teams have qualified for the NCAA Tournament.

In addition to his softball duties, Griffin is the program director for the Athletic Training Education Program. He teaches first aid/CPR and sports medicine classes in the Exercise and Health Science Department.
