2009: Played in 36 games, started in 34... posted an on base percentage of .437, tops on team... maintained a .341 batting average (2nd on team)... was 2nd on team as well with a .459 slugging percentage... 2nd on team with 7 doubles...led the team and tied for 4th in the MIAA with 16 walks... her 8 sacrifice bunts were good for second on team...earned Second-Team All-MIAA Honors

2008: Started in 25 games ... batting average of .254 ... recorded 10 RBI's and 2 homeruns ... first on the team in fielding percentage with a .994 ...

High School:All-State Academic, All District, All Area. Named in the Top 25 Softball Players in Oakland County. Division I State Final Four in 2002. Divison I Regional in 2002, 2003. Division I Districts in 2002, 2003, 2004. Extracurricular:Takes part in Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity. Volunteers for the Special Olympics. Has explored after school programs for Alma Middle School.

Alma students can explore the environmental wonders of the Galapagos Islands, practice Spanish language skills, study Ecuadorian culture, complete coursework in business finance, and fulfill a South American internship in entrepreneurship through Alma College's one-of-a-kind partnership with Equatorialis University in Quito, Ecuador.

Dennis Griffin

Dennis Griffin

Denny Griffin is heading into his 27th year at Alma College and his 20th at the helm of the Scots softball program. He moved into the head softball coaching position in 1989 after two years as assistant coach. His teams have never fallen lower than third place in conference standings and 12 of his last 14 teams have qualified for the NCAA Tournament.

In addition to his softball duties, Griffin is the program director for the Athletic Training Education Program. He teaches first aid/CPR and sports medicine classes in the Exercise and Health Science Department.
